Conditional form using ば, which expresses a hypothetical condition with a more formal or written register. Often used with general truths, recommendations, and conditions where the result naturally follows. The verb changes to the hypothetical form (行く → 行けば).

早く行けば、混雑する前に席を確保できるよ。
hayaku ikeba, konzatsu suru mae ni seki o kakuho dekiru yo.
If you go early, you can secure a seat before the crowd.
